Therapist Highland Park TX | Trauma Telehealth
Life in Highland Park, TX, can feel full of expectations, responsibilities, and constant demands. If you are a high-achieving adult, you may often appear calm and capable, but internally you may struggle with tension, mental fatigue, and emotional overwhelm that doesn’t simply disappear.
Therapy for high achievers is designed to help you recognize these patterns, understand your reactions, and develop practical tools to manage stress and prevent burnout. This work is about creating space to respond differently, rather than constantly pushing through.
Therapy is available in person or virtually, allowing you to fit sessions into your busy schedule. In our sessions, you will learn to restore emotional balance, increase clarity, and regain a sense of control over your professional and personal life.
How it works
Step 1: Stabilize the System
We start by identifying how survival mode is currently operating in your body. We map your triggers, your stress patterns, and your overfunctioning responses. From the beginning, we build nervous system regulation so you have immediate tools to reduce reactivity and increase steadiness.
Step 2: Resolve the Root Patterns
Once stability is in place, we address the trauma and learned patterns underneath the pressure. Overfunctioning, perfectionism, emotional suppression, hyper-independence — we untangle these at the source so you’re not just managing symptoms, you’re changing the wiring driving them.
Step 3: Expand Capacity and Integration
As regulation strengthens, we shift toward integration. Leadership becomes steadier. Relationships feel less reactive. Decisions feel clearer. You begin operating from embodied control instead of chronic bracing. This is where survival strength transforms into regulated power.
Individual Therapy
High-achieving adults often feel the pressure to perform, leaving them mentally exhausted or emotionally disconnected, even when everything seems under control.
Through therapy for high achievers, we identify the habits and thought patterns that contribute to stress and emotional overwhelm. The sessions provide tools to regulate your nervous system, manage internal pressure, and cultivate balance and presence amid Highland Park’s active lifestyle.
Therapy for Men
Balancing work obligations, social expectations, and family life can leave you mentally exhausted while you maintain an appearance of control. You may notice yourself withdrawing, snapping at small frustrations, or zoning out because it’s easier than expressing what’s happening inside.
Therapy for men helps you step out of these patterns and reconnect with your internal experiences. Together, we focus on reducing emotional tension, responding more intentionally, and creating balance so you can manage responsibilities without sacrificing your well-being.
Burnout Therapy
You may feel like you’re running on empty. You’re still performing, still keeping everything together, but tasks feel heavier, focus is inconsistent, and resting no longer restores your energy.
In burnout therapy, we work to rebuild your capacity and create strategies that allow you to operate sustainably. The focus is on identifying what’s draining your energy, shifting unhelpful patterns, and helping you reclaim motivation, clarity, and balance in your day-to-day life.
Anxiety Therapy
Your mind often feels like it never turns off: thoughts about mistakes, responsibilities, or upcoming challenges replay endlessly, leaving your body tense, sleep restless, and moments of peace fleeting.
Anxiety therapy helps you regulate your nervous system and work through mental overdrive. You’ll learn strategies to calm persistent tension, respond intentionally to stress, and regain a sense of clarity, balance, and emotional control throughout your busy Highland Park days.
EMDR Therapy
You may feel tension tightening in your chest during certain moments, noticing that past experiences are quietly steering your emotions, reactions, or even decisions. It can make daily life feel heavier, as if the past never really left.
Through EMDR therapy, you process these memories in a safe and guided way, allowing them to lose their control over your present. You learn to respond to triggers with more calm and clarity, gaining back your emotional freedom.
As the work takes effect, your life starts to feel fuller and lighter. You notice your responses softening, relationships improving, and a sense of calm returning to your days.
PTSD Therapy
PTSD therapy is for you if certain memories or situations still affect you more than you expect. You might notice feeling triggered, shutting down, or becoming overwhelmed in ways that feel automatic. I work with you to help your system process those experiences so they no longer feel immediate or activating. Over time, this creates more balance, more presence, and a greater sense of safety in your day to day life.
Somatic Therapy
Somatic therapy is a space to reconnect with your body when you’ve been living mostly in your head. You may be aware of your thoughts and patterns, but feel disconnected from how things are actually felt in your body. In my approach, we focus on building that connection in a gradual and supportive way. This helps you feel more present, more grounded, and more aligned with your overall experience.
Betrayal trauma therapy
Betrayal trauma and infidelity therapy is a space to work through the confusion that often follows a rupture in trust. You may find yourself questioning what’s real, what to believe, or how to move forward. This can affect not only how you see the relationship, but how you experience yourself.
You might feel disconnected, uncertain, or unsure of your own judgment in ways that weren’t there before. In my work, we focus on helping you rebuild that internal sense of clarity and stability, starting from within. This allows you to reconnect with your own perception and feel more grounded in your decisions. Over time, you begin to move forward with more confidence, clearer boundaries, and a stronger sense of self.

Words can't describe how much she had helped me. I'm trying to think of words to describe my experience, but there are none. She's an angel, and without a doubt, the BEST therapist I ever spoke to. Frequently asked questions
How do I know if we’re a good fit?
Therapy works best when you feel safe, seen, and understood. If you're curious about working together, I offer a free 20-minute consultation where we can discuss your needs, my approach, and whether it feels like the right fit for you.
How often do we meet?
Most clients meet weekly or biweekly, depending on their needs and goals. We can discuss what frequency feels best for your process.
How long should I expect to be in therapy?
There is no standard timeline for therapy; it depends entirely on you and what you hope to gain.
At the beginning, we’ll establish goals and check in on progress over time. Healing is not just about “checking off” goals but about feeling confident in your ability to navigate challenges and growth without therapy.
Some people find 3 months helpful for gaining awareness and new tools. Others find that around 6 months, they begin making meaningful changes. Some continue therapy as a space for ongoing self-growth, while others work toward a specific outcome and end when they feel complete. I will never expect you to be in therapy longer than you need.
What’s your cancellation policy?
I require 48 hours' notice for cancellations. Late cancellations or missed sessions may be subject to a fee. This is explained more fully in my intake paperwork.
Can I use my insurance for virtual therapy?
I currently do not accept insurance payments. I can support you in seeking out of network reimbursement if your insurance plans has those benefits.
