Therapist Sachse TX | Anxiety & Trauma Therapy
In Sachse, TX, you may be used to handling what’s in front of you without stopping to check in with yourself too much. You move through your day, take care of what’s expected, and keep things running, but internally, it doesn’t always feel as steady as it looks.
You might notice your mind staying active long after things are done, your body holding tension without a clear reason, or a sense that you’re always slightly “on,” even when you’re trying to rest.
In my work, I focus on helping you understand what’s happening beneath that surface. Through approaches like high achievers therapy , I don’t just look at patterns at an intellectual level; I work with how your nervous system is responding and what it needs to actually shift.
This creates space to slow down, process what you’ve been carrying, and begin moving through your life with more clarity and less internal pressure.
If this resonates, I invite you to explore the services below to find the support that fits what you’re experiencing.
How it works
Step 1: Stabilize the System
We start by identifying how survival mode is currently operating in your body. We map your triggers, your stress patterns, and your overfunctioning responses. From the beginning, we build nervous system regulation so you have immediate tools to reduce reactivity and increase steadiness.
Step 2: Resolve the Root Patterns
Once stability is in place, we address the trauma and learned patterns underneath the pressure. Overfunctioning, perfectionism, emotional suppression, hyper-independence — we untangle these at the source so you’re not just managing symptoms, you’re changing the wiring driving them.
Step 3: Expand Capacity and Integration
As regulation strengthens, we shift toward integration. Leadership becomes steadier. Relationships feel less reactive. Decisions feel clearer. You begin operating from embodied control instead of chronic bracing. This is where survival strength transforms into regulated power.
Individual Therapy
High achievers therapy is designed for you if you’re used to functioning at a high level, but internally feel like your system never fully slows down.
You may be someone who follows through, stays consistent, and handles what’s in front of you without much hesitation. From the outside, things can look stable or even successful. But internally, you might notice constant overthinking, difficulty relaxing, or a sense of pressure that doesn’t fully turn off, even when your day is done.
In our sessions, we look at how your nervous system has adapted to pressure, responsibility, and high expectations, and why those patterns continue even when they’re no longer helping you. We create space to regulate your system, reduce internal pressure, and help you move through your life with more clarity, more presence, and a way of functioning that feels sustainable rather than forced.
Therapy for Men
After running errands along W. Lucas Road and handling work obligations, you catch yourself thinking about what’s next before you even finish what’s in front of you. Handling stress independently has always been your approach, but it’s starting to leave you irritable, emotionally distant, and mentally drained.
Through therapy for men, we explore the patterns behind overthinking and emotional shutdown. You’ll learn strategies to step out of constant pressure, respond intentionally to challenges, and feel more present and in control of your emotions and daily life.
Burnout Therapy
Burnout therapy supports you when your system has been operating in overdrive for too long. Even if you’re still getting things done, you may feel tired, disconnected, or less engaged with your day. Rest may not feel as effective as it should. I focus on helping you understand how that state developed. Burnout therapy looks at how stress has been held in your system and why it hasn’t fully released. From there, we work on shifting those patterns, so you can feel more grounded, more energized, and less reliant on constant effort to function.
Anxiety Therapy
Anxiety therapy supports you when your system has been holding tension for longer than it should. You may feel alert, reactive, or easily overwhelmed, even in situations that are objectively manageable.
I focus on helping you understand how anxiety is maintained in your system and what needs to shift for it to ease. From there, we begin to build a more regulated state, so you can move through your day with greater calm and stability.
EMDR Therapy
EMDR therapy is for you if you feel like something from the past still hasn’t fully resolved. You may notice that certain triggers, memories, or situations continue to affect how you feel and respond.
In session, we help your brain and body reprocess those experiences, so they no longer feel as immediate or intense. This creates space for more regulation, more presence, and a more grounded way of moving through your life.
PTSD Therapy
PTSD therapy helps you when past experiences continue to shape how you feel and respond today. You may notice patterns of anxiety, emotional reactivity, or disconnection that don’t fully match your current situation. In my work, we focus on helping your system process those experiences so they no longer drive your reactions. Over time, this creates more clarity, more regulation, and a stronger sense of control.
Somatic Therapy
Somatic therapy is for you if you want to feel more connected, grounded, and at ease in your body. You may notice stress showing up physically, through tension, fatigue, or difficulty relaxing.
I work with you to understand these signals and help your system release what it’s been holding. Over time, this creates a deeper sense of balance, presence, and regulation in your daily life.
Betrayal trauma therapy
Betrayal trauma and infidelity therapy is for you if you feel like what happened changed how you experience trust. You may notice difficulty relaxing, questioning your perception, or feeling disconnected from yourself or others.
I work with you to help your system process that rupture so trust can begin to rebuild in a way that feels grounded and real. This allows you to move forward with more confidence, more clarity, and a stronger sense of self.
I serve clients in Sachse TX and nearby areas
I support clients in Sachse, TX, through virtual therapy, making it easier to prioritize your mental health without disrupting your schedule. If you’re used to staying productive and managing multiple responsibilities, adding something new can feel like too much.
Virtual sessions allow you to step into therapy without commuting, giving you space to focus on yourself while staying within your routine. This makes it easier to stay consistent without sacrificing your time or energy.
For high achievers, this approach removes friction. You don’t have to choose between your responsibilities and your well-being, you can integrate both in a way that feels sustainable.
Over time, this creates a rhythm in which therapy supports your life rather than becoming another task on your list.

Frequently asked questions
How do I know if we’re a good fit?
Therapy works best when you feel safe, seen, and understood. If you're curious about working together, I offer a free 20-minute consultation where we can discuss your needs, my approach, and whether it feels like the right fit for you.
How often do we meet?
Most clients meet weekly or biweekly, depending on their needs and goals. We can discuss what frequency feels best for your process.
How long should I expect to be in therapy?
There is no standard timeline for therapy; it depends entirely on you and what you hope to gain.
At the beginning, we’ll establish goals and check in on progress over time. Healing is not just about “checking off” goals but about feeling confident in your ability to navigate challenges and growth without therapy.
Some people find 3 months helpful for gaining awareness and new tools. Others find that around 6 months, they begin making meaningful changes. Some continue therapy as a space for ongoing self-growth, while others work toward a specific outcome and end when they feel complete. I will never expect you to be in therapy longer than you need.
What’s your cancellation policy?
I require 48 hours' notice for cancellations. Late cancellations or missed sessions may be subject to a fee. This is explained more fully in my intake paperwork.
Can I use my insurance for virtual therapy?
I currently do not accept insurance payments. I can support you in seeking out of network reimbursement if your insurance plans has those benefits.
