Therapist Farmersville TX | Office Location
Living in Farmersville, TX, can feel calm and steady on the outside, but that doesn’t always reflect what's going on inside. You may be managing work, responsibilities, and daily life in a way that looks stable, while still carrying stress, tension, or a sense that something hasn’t fully settled.
This is something I often see in people who are used to showing up, staying consistent, and handling what’s in front of them, even when their system is asking for something different. If that resonates, you may also find yourself drawn to therapy for high achievers , where we begin to understand the patterns behind constant pressure, internal expectations, and the difficulty of truly slowing down.
If you’ve been thinking about starting therapy, this can be a space to slow down and understand what’s actually going on beneath the surface, at your own pace and without pressure. You don’t need to have everything figured out or clearly defined to begin.
This work is about creating space to process what you’ve been holding, reconnect with yourself, and find a way to move through life that feels more grounded and sustainable.
Sessions are offered virtually, making it easier to access support in a way that fits naturally into your routine.
How it works
Step 1: Stabilize the System
We start by identifying how survival mode is currently operating in your body. We map your triggers, your stress patterns, and your overfunctioning responses. From the beginning, we build nervous system regulation so you have immediate tools to reduce reactivity and increase steadiness.
Step 2: Resolve the Root Patterns
Once stability is in place, we address the trauma and learned patterns underneath the pressure. Overfunctioning, perfectionism, emotional suppression, hyper-independence — we untangle these at the source so you’re not just managing symptoms, you’re changing the wiring driving them.
Step 3: Expand Capacity and Integration
As regulation strengthens, we shift toward integration. Leadership becomes steadier. Relationships feel less reactive. Decisions feel clearer. You begin operating from embodied control instead of chronic bracing. This is where survival strength transforms into regulated power.
Individual Therapy
Therapy for high achievers is designed for people who are used to functioning at a high level, staying consistent, and handling what’s in front of them, even when their system is asking for something different. You may be able to keep everything moving, but still feel like you’re always “on,” unable to fully relax, or carrying more than you have space for.
This work focuses on understanding the patterns behind that constant pressure, not just at a mental level, but at a nervous system level. It creates space to slow down, process what you’ve been holding, and begin shifting out of patterns that keep you in a state of tension or overfunctioning.
Over time, therapy for high achievers helps you move toward a way of functioning that feels more sustainable, where you can still show up fully in your life, but without feeling like everything depends on you all the time.
Therapy for Men
You notice the tension building in your shoulders and jaw. You’ve been managing on your own for years, but lately it feels like your usual coping methods aren’t enough, and you can feel it showing up in your mood and interactions.
Therapy for men focuses on helping you understand what’s happening internally and how to respond differently. The work helps you manage frustration, reconnect with your emotions, and create strategies to navigate daily life without the constant sense of overload.
Burnout Therapy
Driving down Main Street after a long day, you feel drained even though your to-do list is far from finished. Tasks that once seemed manageable now require more effort, and even rest doesn’t seem to recharge your focus or motivation.
Through burnout therapy, we help you regain energy and create strategies to operate sustainably. We focus on identifying pressure points, rebuilding your capacity, and helping you engage in daily life with clarity, motivation, and a sense of control over your performance.
Anxiety Therapy
You may find yourself replaying conversations, thinking ahead, or trying to stay on top of everything, while your body stays tense and your energy slowly drains.
Even when you finally have a moment to pause, your system may not fully settle. Rest can feel incomplete, and focus can be harder to access because your mind is still scanning for what’s next or what might go wrong.
Anxiety therapy focuses on helping your nervous system slow down, not just your thoughts. Through this work, you begin to release the physical tension that builds throughout your day, feel more grounded in your body, and respond to stress in a steadier, more manageable way.
Over time, this allows you to move through your day with more clarity, more presence, and a sense of balance that doesn’t depend on constantly staying one step ahead.
EMDR Therapy
The memories that surface without warning can feel heavier than the responsibilities you face daily. Even when everything seems fine on the outside, inside, anxiety, tension, or avoidance can dominate your energy and mood.
EMDR therapy helps you safely process these unresolved experiences. By doing this, you reduce their impact on your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, giving you space to live without the constant shadow of past trauma.
With time, you begin to notice relief in small moments, driving down Main Street, interacting with family, or tackling work tasks. You feel more in control, calmer, and able to engage fully with life again.
PTSD Therapy
PTSD therapy is designed for moments when your past still feels active in your present. You might experience intrusive thoughts, heightened emotions, or difficulty feeling safe even when nothing is wrong. I help you work through how those experiences are held in your system and what needs to shift for them to settle. This allows you to feel more present, more grounded, and less reactive over time.
Somatic Therapy
Somatic therapy is for you if your body feels like it’s carrying more than your mind can explain. You may notice ongoing tightness, low level discomfort, or a sense of tension that stays with you throughout the day.
In my work, somatic therapy focuses on helping you understand how your body is holding these patterns and what it needs to release them safely. Over time, this allows you to feel lighter, more at ease, and less impacted by that constant physical strain.
Betrayal trauma therapy
Betrayal trauma and infidelity therapy is for you if what happened still feels present, even when you’re trying to move forward. You may find your mind going back to the same moments, trying to understand, question, or make sense of something that still feels unresolved. This kind of experience doesn’t just stay in your thoughts, it impacts your sense of safety, your ability to trust, and how you feel in your own body.
You might notice emotional intensity, difficulty focusing, or a constant sense of being unsettled. In my work, we focus on helping your system process that rupture at a deeper level, so it no longer feels as immediate or consuming. This allows you to feel more grounded, more clear, and less pulled into those cycles. Over time, you’re able to move forward with a stronger sense of stability, whether that means rebuilding the relationship or reconnecting with yourself in a different way.

Words can't describe how much she had helped me. I'm trying to think of words to describe my experience, but there are none. She's an angel, and without a doubt, the BEST therapist I ever spoke to. Frequently asked questions
How do I know if we’re a good fit?
Therapy works best when you feel safe, seen, and understood. If you're curious about working together, I offer a free 20-minute consultation where we can discuss your needs, my approach, and whether it feels like the right fit for you.
How often do we meet?
Most clients meet weekly or biweekly, depending on their needs and goals. We can discuss what frequency feels best for your process.
How long should I expect to be in therapy?
There is no standard timeline for therapy; it depends entirely on you and what you hope to gain.
At the beginning, we’ll establish goals and check in on progress over time. Healing is not just about “checking off” goals but about feeling confident in your ability to navigate challenges and growth without therapy.
Some people find 3 months helpful for gaining awareness and new tools. Others find that around 6 months, they begin making meaningful changes. Some continue therapy as a space for ongoing self-growth, while others work toward a specific outcome and end when they feel complete. I will never expect you to be in therapy longer than you need.
What’s your cancellation policy?
I require 48 hours' notice for cancellations. Late cancellations or missed sessions may be subject to a fee. This is explained more fully in my intake paperwork.
Can I use my insurance for virtual therapy?
I currently do not accept insurance payments. I can support you in seeking out of network reimbursement if your insurance plans has those benefits.
